Vanessa's Birthday!

It was Vanessa's birthday this month, and we celebrated by eating dinner and going to starbucks. From left to right is, Me, Joyce, Vanessa, and Sandra.

Cathy's 27th Birthday

I just found the pictures that we took on my birthday. We went to eat at Captain's Inn Mihama. It's the kind of restaurant where the chef cooks the food right in front of you. Afterwards, we went to Dragon's Palace and played some games.

Christmas 2005

We had a great Christmas. We had a party here at our house. There were almost 30 people the party including the kids. We are so thankful for these friends to spend Christmas with. At the party, we had a gift exchange and played a couple of games. There were so much food!!! We sent everyone home with lots of leftovers. This was our fourth Christmas here in Okinawa.

Aaron's Gifts

This is not Aaron's first Christmas, but this is the first time he will actually enjoy opening presents. Brent and I went a little overboard and bought him lots of gifts. We got him a slide, a rocket, a wagon, and a motorcycle! He also got a train set with a table from his Lolo and Lola. He had a great time opening gifts. We love this kid so much, so we need to be careful about spoiling him... but it's so much fun to buy toys!!! ;-)

Aaron's First Trip to Monakid's Jungle

We took Aaron to Monakid's Jungle. It's like Chuck E. Chese, but smaller and no pizza! But they sell Curry Rice and other Japanese dishes. We let him play for almost 2 hours. This was Aaron's first time at a playground. We were so happy to have some time to play with Aaron. Brent has had some really crazy schedule at work lately, and we needed some "family" time. Aaron loved the slide and the balls!!!

Okuma with the Workmans

We were invited to spend a weekend at Okuma several weeks ago. We had a great time with Jeremy & Chevon. Aaron had blast with Jaiden (Jeremy & Chevon's son). We rode bikes, played games, and rode a boat. Chevon and I (Cathy) had lots of fun during at the Karaoke Night. Brent and Jeremy spent some time playing golf. We are so thankful to have great friends. The Workmans are leaving Okinawa in a few weeks. We will miss you guys!

Note: Aaron fell asleep on the boat! He was so tired from all the activities! Isn't he cute??? ;-)

Getting ready for Christmas

Here is a picture of Aaron putting his ornament on the tree. Every year, we buy a special ornament to add to our Christmas tree, and last year we bought an ornament that said, "Baby's First Christmas 2004." This year our new ornament was from Disneyland, to remember Aaron's first Disneyland visit and our reunion with Brent. (He was deployed to Iraq for a few months.)
