Pumpkin Patch

A couple of weeks ago, we went to the Summerlin Pumpkin Patch in Las Vegas. Every year our HOA hosts a pumpkin patch event for the community. They have games, mazes, bouce houses, face painting, and a petting zoo. Local farmers and vendors also come and sell produce and food. Last year was our first year and Aaron had a great time. The kids come in costume and they have a costume parade. This year, however, the event got rained and snowed out! We were in line for the petting zoo, and it began to rain, and eventually snowed!!! It was crazy! It was sooo cold, and we were not prepared for the weather, because last year is was hot. Anyway, we went home early, so did a lot of other people.... but it was still fun. Aaron took home a pumpkin and got to pet some animals. He was happy, so it was good time. :-)

We went to Micheals and scored with some great bargains! $4.99 each for these two super cute scarecrow kids. Aaron wanted to get the big boy (it's supposed to be him) and the small one (for his baby "braw-der"). So cute!

A couple of weeks ago we got to webcam with Brent. Aaron of course told him all about his day.
We have had the chance to web cam about 3-4 times already. Thank goodness for technology!

Playhouse Disney Live!

Playhouse Disney Live! On Tour was in town this weekend and we of course, went to see it. Every morning Aaron watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einsteins before he goes to school. He also loves to watch Tigger and Pooh and Handy Manny! So he was so excited to see all his favorite shows on stage! The have a smaller version of this show inside Disney's California Adventure, but this was a really fun show and a lot longer!

It's a boy!

We finally got ultrasound pictures! I went to the base hospital today and they couldn't get a good picture of the baby, so they couldn't tell me the sex of the baby... I was very disappointed, until I remembered that there are several places around here that does the 3D imaging. So I went and we found out that we are having a boy! Here are the pictures... you can see the face but it's blurry. It turns out that my placenta was right on top and it was getting in the way of getting a clear picture. Anyway I'm glad I went because I was really looking forward to finding out. Brent is very happy to have another boy, that was what he was hoping for... as for me, I'm happy as well although I was hoping for a girl. But Aaron was and still is so much fun, so I'm happy to have another boy!
